Jellyjacket is an indie rock band from the Twin Cities featuring members of iconic local bands Mile One, the Flamin’ Oh’s, and “some guy named Rich.” Jellyjacket has built a reputation for tight, high-energy live shows that are earning rave reviews for their raw, electrifying presence and unmistakable chemistry.

The band channels a ‘70s-inspired vibe with a sound that feels like the Rolling Stones meets INXS — with a little "no apologies ’80s New York pop” attitude thrown into the mix. Their music blends crunchy guitars, sly vocals, and a percussive groove-driven backbone into a soundscape that is somehow both gritty and polished. Critics have described the band as delivering “arena-sized instincts crammed into a dive bar frame,” playing “rock and roll the way it was meant to be played: loud, lean, and just a little dangerous.”

Jellyjacket’s seasoned lineup — Patrick Schmid (vocals), Andy Pavelka (guitar), Paul Hermes (guitar), Rich Pearson (bass), Bob Burns (keyboards), and Ben Kaplan (drums) — brings decades of experience performing, connecting with fans, and conjuring anthemic moments.
